Dear friends,

“When a strong man armed kepeth his palace his goods are in peace” Luke 11.21. No one is strong – God  is our strength Ps21.1 Ps 28 7-8 Ps 46.1. Yet we are encouraged to BE STRONG

Thousands of young girls have been encouraged by the motto/song of the “Girls Brigade” based on the Word of God to Joshua “Be strong and be of good courage”.

How many more up to the present by “Be strong  in the Lord and in the power of His might” Eph 6.10

Are you armed? Have you put on the whole amour  - our God graciously provides read at this moment please Eph 6.11-18. Where does this lead? To prayer. This is how our house is kept in peace.

Find two friends who will stand by your side, as Moses did on the mountain. With prayer hands raised Gods people where winning when in weakness lowered, they were losing . Ex 17.10-12.

Surely our GREATEST FRIEND stands in the Holy Place with hands raised “HE EVER LIVES to make intercession for us”

Sylvia and I are still in the “back room” , Sylvia bed bound , myself housebound – but we nestle down into His hands and seek to increase our efforts to glorify God.

A few more poems come from the Lord and welcomed through broadcasting over the satellite service of Trans World Radio. You must ask us for a CD.

We are determined to be an encouragement to our fellow believers and rely upon your faithful praying. Thank you for being a friend to us both , some of you for many years.

We are indeed  grateful and give thanks to God for you. As one of God’s dearest saints, in the past, used to say as a parting word, and we do also “SEE YOU AT THE HOUSE” *Younger believers see John 14.1-3

For Your Prayers

Sylvia still suffers with osteoarthritis in hands, wrist and neck. After both hip replacement has lost the use of her legs and is still recovering from thyroid cancer operation and radio therapy.

My hormone injections continue for prostate cancer. My legs are no longer the problem they were, though needing attention every day. Osteoporosis of the spine cripples me somewhat, so most of my time is spent in a reclining chair, thank you again for continued prayer and care.

Daniel 12.32b

Much Love

Leslie and Sylvia Smith
